s&rsquo;est tenue le lundi 5 juillet \u00e0 12h30 heure de Paris.<\/strong><\/p><p>La Session \u00a0\u00bbUn monde en mouvement : un d\u00e9fi pour l&rsquo;Assomption aujourd&rsquo;hui\u00a0\u00bb a commenc\u00e9 par une pri\u00e8re d&rsquo;ouverture comprenant un chant \u00e0 l&rsquo;Esprit Saint, demandant la pr\u00e9sence de l&rsquo;Esprit. \u00a0La lecture a \u00e9t\u00e9 lue par C\u00e9lestine Allegresse et \u00e9tait tir\u00e9e du livre de la Gen\u00e8se ch 28.15 offrant l&rsquo;assurance de la pr\u00e9sence de Dieu avec nous, et que Dieu ne nous abandonnera pas. \u00a0Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie de la vid\u00e9o d&rsquo;une interview d&rsquo;une femme africaine partageant son exp\u00e9rience de l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e en France en tant que migrante et le difficile processus d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration dans une culture tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente. \u00a0Elle vit maintenant heureuse en France depuis 20 ans, et tout en faisant l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience d&rsquo;une grande solidarit\u00e9, elle a d\u00fb se battre pour ce dont elle avait besoin et tenir bon pour ne pas abandonner.<\/p><p>S\u0153ur Pilar PSA, du Secr\u00e9tariat international de Justice, Paix et Int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de la Cr\u00e9ation a ouvert la session en souhaitant la bienvenue aux 65 participants de 30 pays de mission. \u00a0En comptant les autres observateurs invit\u00e9s, le nombre de participants est pass\u00e9 \u00e0 146 plus tard dans la matin\u00e9e. \u00a0Pilar a not\u00e9 que la pand\u00e9mie nous a permis d&rsquo;\u00eatre fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs de tous ceux qui doivent essayer de traverser les fronti\u00e8res. \u00a0Gr\u00e2ce aux diff\u00e9rentes vid\u00e9os envoy\u00e9es au Secr\u00e9tariat, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 possible de voir l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 dans la diversit\u00e9 de notre service toujours centr\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;\u00c9vangile.<\/p><p>Chacun\/e des Sup\u00e9rieur(e)s G\u00e9n\u00e9raux\/ales des 5 Congr\u00e9gations de l&rsquo;Assomption a souhait\u00e9 la bienvenue aux participants et a remerci\u00e9 le Secr\u00e9tariat International pour l&rsquo;organisation de la Session.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>First zoom meeting of the International IJPIC Session held on Monday 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0July beginning at 12.30pm Paris time.<\/strong><\/p><p>The Session \u2018\u00a0<i>\u00ab\u00a0A World on the Move: A Challenge for the Assumption today\u201d.<\/i>began with an Opening Prayer including a song to the Holy Spirit, asking for the Spirit\u2019s presence. \u00a0The Reading was read by Celestine Allegresse and was from the book of Genesis ch 28.15 offering assurance of God\u2019s presence with us, and that God will not desert us. \u00a0This was followed by a video of an interview with an African woman sharing her experience of coming to France as a migrant and the difficult process of integrating into a very different culture. \u00a0She is now living happily in France for the past 20 years, and while experiencing great solidarity, she has had to fight for what she needs and not give up.<\/p><p>Sr. Pilar LSA, International Secretariat of Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation opened the Session, welcoming the 65 participants from 30 mission countries. \u00a0Including other invited observers the numbers attending rose to 146 later in the morning. \u00a0Pilar noted that the pandemic has allowed us to be brothers and sisters to all those who have to try to cross frontiers. \u00a0Through the various videos sent to the Secretariat it has been possible to see the unity in diversity of our service in the centrality of the Gospel.<\/p><p>Each of the Superior Generals of the 5 Congregations of the Assumption welcomed the participants and thanked the International Secretariat for organising the Session.<\/p><p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Primer encuentro en zoom de la Sesi\u00f3n Internacional de JPIC celebrada el lunes 5 de julio a partir de las 12.30 hora de Par\u00eds.<\/strong><\/p><p>La sesi\u00f3n, titulada \u00ab\u00a0Un mundo en movimiento: un desaf\u00edo para la Asunci\u00f3n hoy\u00a0\u00bb, comenz\u00f3 con una oraci\u00f3n de apertura que inclu\u00eda un canto al Esp\u00edritu Santo por el que pedimos que nos acompa\u00f1ase con su presencia. \u00a0La lectura del libro del G\u00e9nesis (Gn 28,15) fue le\u00edda por Celestine Allegresse, en ella se nos anunciaba la seguridad de la presencia de Dios con nosotros, \u00c9l no nos abandonar\u00e1. \u00a0A continuaci\u00f3n, se proyect\u00f3 un v\u00eddeo con una entrevista a una mujer africana que compart\u00eda su experiencia de llegada a Francia como inmigrante y el dif\u00edcil proceso de integraci\u00f3n en una cultura muy diferente a la suya. Tras 20 a\u00f1os, en la actualidad vive feliz en Francia, y aunque ha experimentado una gran solidaridad, ha tenido que luchar para paliar sus necesidades y no rendirse.<\/p><p>La Hna. Marcelo Marciel A. A. repr\u00e9sentant le P. Benoit A.A. a parl\u00e9 du partage de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des peuples migrants qui conduit \u00e0 renforcer l&rsquo;engagement de la Congr\u00e9gation \u00e0 maintenir une pr\u00e9sence et \u00e0 ne pas abandonner les personnes m\u00eame dans les moments de grande difficult\u00e9, par exemple, lorsque des membres sont kidnapp\u00e9s. Il a cit\u00e9 S\u0153ur Franca Sessa PSA, aujourd&rsquo;hui d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e, qui, lors d&rsquo;une visite \u00e0 leur Conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral en 2017, a dit que JPIC n&rsquo;est pas une r\u00e9flexion suppl\u00e9mentaire mais une fa\u00e7on de vivre l&rsquo;\u00e9vangile. S\u0153ur Felicia Ghiorghies a not\u00e9 que l&rsquo;\u00e9tape \u00e0 laquelle les Congr\u00e9gations se trouvent actuellement montre notre vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et notre fragilit\u00e9, mais aussi les fa\u00e7ons dont nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9atifs \u00e0 travers tous les d\u00e9fis. Elle a appel\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 partager les fruits de la session avec d&rsquo;autres et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des formes d&rsquo;action qui aideront \u00e0 construire \u00ab\u00a0un nouveau ciel\u00a0\u00bb sur la terre. Sr Marie Fran\u00e7oise PSA nous a rappel\u00e9 qu&rsquo;en tant que religieuses nous devons d\u00e9noncer avec force les injustices dont souffrent les migrants et discerner avec d&rsquo;autres comment nous pouvons agir. Les r\u00e9centes noyades en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e sont un scandale pour nous tous. C&rsquo;est une grande gr\u00e2ce de vivre cette session ensemble. Nous comptons sur chacun pour nous rappeler l&rsquo;importance de ces questions dans nos Congr\u00e9gations. S\u0153ur Ann H, Orante de l&rsquo;Assomption, nous a rappel\u00e9 que sa Congr\u00e9gation, bien que n&rsquo;\u00e9tant pas impliqu\u00e9e activement dans beaucoup de ces questions, prend \u00e0 c\u0153ur tout le travail des autres membres de la famille de l&rsquo;Assomption, dans une pri\u00e8re qui s&rsquo;\u00e9tend au monde entier.Pilar a ensuite rappel\u00e9 les objectifs de la Session et les \u00e9tapes d\u00e9j\u00e0 franchies depuis 2018. Marcelo Marciel A. A. representing Fr. Benoit A.A. spoke of the sharing of the reality of migrant peoples which leads to the strengthening of the Congregation\u2019s commitment to maintain a presence and not abandon the people even in times of great difficulty, for example, when members are kidnapped. He quoted Sr. Franca Sessa LSA, now deceased, who on a visit to their General Council in 2017 said that JPIC is not an added reflection but a way of living the gospel. Sr. Felicia Ghiorghies noted that the stage the Congregations are now at is showing our vulnerability and fragility but also the ways we have been creative through all the challenges. Benoit A.A., insisti\u00f3 en la necesidad de compartir sobre la realidad de los pueblos migrantes que conduce a reforzar el compromiso de la Congregaci\u00f3n por mantener la presencia y no abandonar a la gente incluso en momentos de gran dificultad, por ejemplo, cuando se vive el secuestro de algunos de sus miembros. Franca Sessa LSA, ya fallecida, a la que escuch\u00f3 decir en una visita del Consejo General en 2017 que la JPIC no es una reflexi\u00f3n a\u00f1adida sino una forma de vivir el Evangelio. La Hna. Felicia Ghiorghies se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la etapa en la que se encuentran las Congregaciones muestra nuestra vulnerabilidad y fragilidad, pero tambi\u00e9n la forma en que hemos sido creativos a trav\u00e9s de nuestras respuestas a tantos desaf\u00edos. Hizo un llamamiento a los participantes para que compartan los frutos de la Sesi\u00f3n con otros y desarrollen formas de acci\u00f3n que ayuden a construir \u00ab\u00a0un nuevo cielo\u00a0\u00bb en la tierra. La Hna. Marie Francoise LSA nos record\u00f3 que, como religiosas, debemos denunciar con fuerza las injusticias que sufren los inmigrantes y discernir con los dem\u00e1s c\u00f3mo podemos actuar. Los recientes ahogamientos en el Mediterr\u00e1neo son un esc\u00e1ndalo para todos nosotros. Es una gran gracia vivir esta sesi\u00f3n juntos, por lo que cuentan con cada uno de los participantes para recordar la importancia de estos temas en nuestras Congregaciones. La Hna. M\u00eame si nous sommes impuissants, nous pouvons toujours \u00e9couter. Il a ensuite demand\u00e9 si l&rsquo;amour peut \u00ab\u00a0s&rsquo;\u00e9lever\u00a0\u00bb dans de telles situations, et a r\u00e9pondu par une forte affirmation. Il a termin\u00e9 par une pri\u00e8re pour la paix \u00e9crite par un Bosniaque.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s un temps en groupe, des questions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;accueil des gens comme J\u00e9sus l&rsquo;a fait, comment s&rsquo;y pr\u00e9parer, comment affronter les gouvernements et les institutions qui font obstacle \u00e0 ce travail.<\/p>\n<p>La journ\u00e9e s&rsquo;est termin\u00e9e par un dialogue avec l&rsquo;orateur.<\/p><p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Jose spoke at length and very movingly about his work in Guatemala, Bosnia-Herzegovina and presently in Mexico where he has helped in setting up systems to welcome refugees, including the Assumption House for Refugees. Even if we are helpless we can always listen. There are 5 \u201cE\u2019s\u201d that he works with (in Spanish these words begin with E):<\/p>\n<p>&lsquo;Eros&rsquo; = amazement, and passion-appreciation for the lives of others; &lsquo;Ethics&rsquo; = the whole area of relating and living together; &lsquo;Aesthetics&rsquo; = appreciation for beauty, to counteract media messages that can have a very bad influence on us; \u00ab\u00a0Spirituality\u00a0\u00bb which helps us to persevere, and to continue our work, including the commitment to solidarity with others; \u00ab\u00a0Hope\u00a0\u00bb which helps us to continue our commitment, fixing our gaze on Jesus Crucified, without whom bearing suffering is not possible. Then asked if love can \u201crise\u201d in such situations, and replied with a strong affirmative. He ended with a prayer for peace written by a Bosnian.<\/p>\n<p>After some group time, there were general questions re. welcoming people as Jesus did; how to prepare for this; how to confront governments \/ institutions that obstruct this work.<\/p>\n<p>The day ended with dialogue the speaker.<\/p><p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 desarroll\u00f3 una larga ponencia sobre \u201cLos movimientos de poblaci\u00f3n hoy y sus implicaciones\u201d, de forma muy emotiva, dando ejemplos sobre su trabajo en Guatemala, Bosnia-Herzegovina y actualmente en M\u00e9xico, donde ha colaborado en la puesta en marcha de sistemas de acogida de refugiados, entre ellos la Casa de la Asunci\u00f3n para Refugiados. Expuso que aunque estemos indefensos, siempre podemos escuchar que \u201cexisten cinco \u00ab\u00a0E\u00a0\u00bb con las que trabajar: \u2018Eros\u2019 = asombro y pasi\u00f3n-apreciaci\u00f3n por la vida de los dem\u00e1s; \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9tica\u00a0\u00bb = todo el \u00e1mbito de la relaci\u00f3n y la convivencia; \u00ab\u00a0Est\u00e9tica\u00a0\u00bb=aprecio por la belleza, para contrarrestar los mensajes de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n que pueden tener una muy mala influencia sobre nosotros; \u00ab\u00a0Espiritualidad\u00a0\u00bb que nos ayuda a perseverar, y a continuar nuestro trabajo, incluyendo el compromiso solidario con los dem\u00e1s; \u201cEsperanza\u201d que nos alienta a continuar nuestra entrega fijando la mirada en Jes\u00fas Crucificado, sin el cual no es posible soportar el sufrimiento. Concluy\u00f3 preguntando si el amor puede \u00ab\u00a0levantarse\u00a0\u00bb en tales situaciones, y respondi\u00f3 con una fuerte afirmaci\u00f3n que \u201cs\u00ed\u201d.
